Old Mac Guru - Old MacBook Air - New Websites Built

MacGizmoGuy's Ancient MacBook

I recently did a complete rewrite of my MacGizmoGuy Dot Com website. I fired up RapidWeaver8 on Mac OSX Catalina on an Ancient Early 2014 MacBook Air refurb that I still use for all my websites!!!! A crazy thing, huh? - A man who was a certified Apple Computer consultant for many years - Still runs an ancient old refurbished MacBook over 10 years old that does everything he wants it to. I am considering getting in recertified 2020 M1 MacBook as my new computer.

New Site - Old Apple Technology

"If it ain't broke don't fix it!" seems applicable here. I've been afraid to run anymore macOS updates to the last supported version, and afraid that my paid version of Microsoft Office 2016 or RapidWeaver8 might not run anymore on new hardware or system software!

New Life For My Apple Computing Legacy

So, my old MacGizmoGuy Apple compatible iOS and Mac compatible gadget review site is now a simplified version with just a handful of topic-relevant pages About Me in my retirement years. I witnessed the entire arc of the personal computer revolution since the 1970's and I have a lot to say about apples technology and products.

New Life For My Apple Computing Legacy

I should also mention that my lengendary authority website about Mac compatible web cameras now exists and redirects as a single webcam page on MacGizmoGuy's website! External USB video chat cameras still have their place, even in the world where we're all running around with iPhones capturing video on the go.
