In many ways the lowliest Mac benefits the most from a Mac mini SSD upgrade. The latest crop of solid-state flash memory disk drives offer stunning performance - and can transform the lowly Mac mini into quite a powerhouse just replacing it's small laptop size SATA drive with an ultra-fast SSD from OCZ, SuperTalent, Intel, Patriot or many others.
Unfortunately, Apple has yet to offer a BTO - Build To Order SSD option for some of their consumer Macs. But adventurous Do It Yourselfers may find a solid-state drive replacement in their mini Mac to be a very, very worthwhile investment.
